For long, the Cahiers Caribeens d'Egyptologie (CCdE) have been a joint yearly publication, in paper format, of the University of Antilles Guyane (France), of the University of Yaounde (Cameroon) and of the University of Barcelona (Spain). Since 2010, they are published by a research group named The Ankhou :
Alain Anselin, founder of the ancient Egyptian lesson at the University of Antilles-Guyane, was the redactor in chief as well as the editor of this journal since its creation in 2000 until his death on May 2019;
the Lecture Commitee is made up with 18 researchers : Hartwig Altenmüller (University of Hamburg), Alain Anselin (University of Antilles-Guyane), Nagwa Mohamed Arafa (University of Helwan), Marcelo Campagno (University of Buenos Aires), Josep Cervello-Autuori (University of Barcelona), Karen Exell (past curator of the Manchester Museum), Maria Carmela Gatto (University of Leicester), Karine Gadré (Culture Diff'), Jean-Philippe Gourdine (Emory University, Atlanta), Stan Hendrickx (Provinciale Hogeschool Limburg, Hasselt), Augustin Holl (Institut National des Sciences Humaines et Sociales), Shomarka Keita (Howard University, National Human Genome Center, Washington), Mpay Kemboly (Faculté de Philosophie Saint-Pierre de Casinius, Kimwenza-Kinshasa & Bumuntu Peace Institute), Jean-Loic Le Quellec (CNRS, Paris / Johannesburg), Pierre Oum Ndigi (University of Yaounde I), Olivier Pulvar (University of Antilles-Guyane), Fabrice Silpa (University of Antilles-Guyane) and Adel Zine Al-Abedine (University of Tanta).
