From the Culture Diff' Client Area, access the free and paying interfaces of the Culture Diff' softwares allowing to solve various archaeoastronomical problems, namely the determination, from the year 4713 BC :
of the dates of heliacal rising and setting of any star visible to the naked eye,- of the days of solstices and equinoxes,
- of the astronomical source of orientation of any monument.
For the record, these softwares were developed for the needs of the doctoral thesis I prepared and defended at the Astrophysics Laboratory of Toulouse-Tarbes (now Research Institute in Astrophysics and Planetology), a Joint Research Unit of the CNRS and the University Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France. They are exclusively available on the www.culturediff.org website.
These free tests of the Culture Diff' softwares will lead you to determine:
- the dates of heliacal rising and setting of the star of Sirius in 2024 AD;
- the days of solstices and equinoxes in 2024 AD;
- the astronomical source of orientation of the pyramid of Cheops at Giza.
